What Are the Eligibility Requirements for Canada’s Start-Up Visa Program?

  • Qualifying business

  • Extensive knowledge in an industry and be able to prove the work experience.

  • Commitment Certificate and Letter of Support from a designated entity (private sector Angel Investor, Business Incubator or Venture Capital Fund).

  • Sufficient, available and transferable settlement funds

  • Proficiency in English or French at minimum Canadian Language Benchmark level 5

  • No criminal record or significant medical issues.
